Here is a fix to the problem of not being able to reply to comments on your Youtube videos ever since they started pushing the name change policy to use your Google+ name. Hope this helps many since Google still has not fixed this problem themselves.

+Liz ℚuilty you will see if you try to reply to comments people left when your name was the old one, now that you changed it to your G+ name, the reply box will not even open. This solution will fix that perfectly until Google themselves come up with a fix for that annoying bug that is affecting millions of people right now who are simply giving up trying.
