Interesting… From the oil on my hands one of my coworkers had mine cracked in 3 attempts in about 30 seconds. FBI has issues I guess.

I have a BIG problem with this quote "What’s more, many states, including California, grant authorities the right to access a suspect’s mobile phone, without a warrant, upon arrest for any crime." That's totally protected under the fourth amendment…isn't it?
Of note: This is a PIMP's phone the FBI is trying to crack!! Since you know.. there aren't more PRESSING issues they should be tending to…. smdh…
+Al Ebnereza Agreed, but the issue is an important one, the specific example doesn't matter. It's impressive the FBI couldn't get around it. I wish iPhone would get that kind of unlock system.
Breaking the iphone password protection (the keyword kind, not the silly 4 digit kind) is not very easy. And iphones have remote-wipe and lockout abilities, which androids still don't; last we reviewed the matter.
+Al Ebnereza The most effective out of the box way to hack into an iphone 4 or 4s is with this software available to the general public. It has been tested and found to be very effective until another method is discovered this is a decent way to do it. http://www.elcomsoft.com/eppb.html The pro version is the one that does it all.
Yeah I remember this one, but this is more for breaking the backup encryption, isn't it? I'm talking breaking the on-device password protection, with the phone in your hand kind of scenario, has that been done yet?

Although on the 4S, they can ONLY break jailbroken phones. Hah, nice!
+Al Ebnereza I've used this program for years. I love it!
