How To Hack your way around any Lock Pattern on Any Android Phone

Jul 10th, 2012News33 responses

Access all information in the phone, call logs, sms history and all the other juicy stuff you may like to peek at.

Apparently many people have tried to figure this out but have not had success. A friend of mine needed access to several phones that had that annoying pattern lock but he could not get into them no matter what he tried, there are plenty of videos and tutorials out there showing hacks but none of them work properly. You can even risk turning the phone into a brick.

I sat down for ten minutes did some research and testing and came up with a way to do it.

So much for security. Tutorial Below.

————————————————————-

Use this HACK to get into anyone's Android Phone that has annoying lock pattern security.

What you will need is, the phone number of the phone you are trying to crack into.
You will also need to be in a area where there is a wifi connection you can use.

Call your own mobile from a home phone or have someone call it for You. Answer. Leave the call connected. Push the "back" key over and over (NOT the home key) while leaving the call connected, it should eventually take you to the home screen. (Moto Droid users, keep the keyboard retracted)

Go to the home screen, go to settings, go to google accounts, add another google account, sign in to that one. (must have wifi connected, as you're trying to communicate with the google servers while you're on a phone call– it will prompt you to turn on wifi if you forget)– after it accepts the new account credentials, and logs you in, hang up the phone, and go back to the lock screen.

This time, use the new google account you just added to bypass the slide lock pattern.

It will now force you to change and reset the unlock pattern.

Congrats You have just Hacked right into a protected phone.
Enjoy.

Hate to spell it out, but… you all do realize that this method also will give you full access to the person's Google+ account to make posts, read emails etc.

Perfect!! :) Will do this to next over the top androidy that runs into me.

I wonder if there is a big demand for a method for Iphone's as well, maybe I should release that method too.

    Nooooo!!! :-) #boycottapple

  10. Drew Jones (July 10th, 2012 at 11:53 pm)

    it works!

Can you please post which phone models and android version you are running? I have tested on two phones (running different versions of Android) and can not re-create this supposed flaw.

  12. Drew Jones (July 11th, 2012 at 8:29 pm)

    Samsung Galaxy 2 running ICS

  13. Adam Wallis (July 11th, 2012 at 8:33 pm)

Tried on evo 4G lte and moto atrix. Will also try on epic 4G touch (stock) later

  14. Drew Jones (July 11th, 2012 at 10:01 pm)

it takes like 5 minutes of tapping the back button while your in the call. once you end the call…thats when it goes back to your home screen

  15. Drew Jones (July 11th, 2012 at 10:02 pm)

its kind of tedius…but if you really want the phone…youll do anything for it.

  16. Adam Guerbuez (July 11th, 2012 at 10:33 pm)

Yes this is my way to get it done without being impatient. The fbi could not even figure this out so ummm ya…….

  17. Al Ebnereza (July 11th, 2012 at 10:36 pm)

That FBI article btw sounded a bit manufactured. It had a apple bashing in it too, with very old references to the original vulnerability in the iOS locking mechanism, which has been fixed for a while. You can NOT bypass the current iOS lock without brute forcing the password externally.

  18. Drew Jones (July 11th, 2012 at 10:59 pm)

    "fuck the fbi"

  19. Adam Guerbuez (July 11th, 2012 at 11:04 pm)

Where there is a will, Adam Guerbuez will find a way…. Will make it a public post aa well just to cause a little ruckus.

  20. Drew Jones (July 11th, 2012 at 11:09 pm)

This is a really good one, Adam! Thanks!

  21. Adam Guerbuez (July 11th, 2012 at 11:40 pm)

+Drew Jones  you are welcome. I like to write about my findings, as I know that a handful of people of interest do watch and monitor my every move on and off the internet. Not only has it been publicly documented that I have regular surveillance (i.e: unsealed court documents) and my own interactions with regular tails while I am on the road and of course the cybercrime/organized crime detachment of the local blues (I don't have the slightest clue as to why) intercepting me on a almost daily basis to ask me questions like how I enjoyed my dinner at such and such a place (hours before), while addressing me by my first name…. (this freaks out friends that are with me on occasion in the car, I guess its normal) Although the harassment gets annoying at points, interfering with my time, I always keep in mind that I have "quality" eyes on my published articles, not really quantity. Thus I tend to never follow circles of people these days, I let people follow me a few every day, naturally for the right reasons, not just because they are following me back out of respect for me following them, pretty pointless really.  The right people are seeing my every word, that's what motivates me to continue making goodies public.

My mind is a very unique and creative one, I can not cease to give into my desires to constantly explore technology and continue to easily solve otherwise complicated issues that the mainstream faces. For me, it is good clean fun.

  22. Drew Jones (July 12th, 2012 at 12:38 am)

if it weren't fun, you wouldn't be doing it. As far as the other stuff is concerned, its great that you're past all that, great to know ya.

  23. Alan Landucci-Ruiz (July 13th, 2012 at 10:48 pm)

I stopped doing the pattern lock because I figured out that it's too easy for someone to see me do it. But this also looks like it would bypass any android lock, even the facial recognition.

  24. Drew Jones (July 13th, 2012 at 10:56 pm)

that is what I was thinking. The only dilema would be getting the phones number unless it was taped on the phone somehow, unless there is a way to get the number without security.

  25. Me (November 28th, 2012 at 10:25 am)

Wat if you want to get into someones phone without changing the pattern so they never knew you were there

  26. Tomer (December 2nd, 2012 at 2:18 pm)

you can use your own sim card and then call your number

  27. chocolate thunder (December 10th, 2012 at 9:08 pm)

  31. Anonymous (February 15th, 2013 at 5:54 pm)

:) ) I presume you are an iphone user, so just search on GOOGLE, how to hack an iPhone lock screen. For iOs 4 it takes the press of two buttons and for 5 and 6 it’s an extra button, without calls, accounts, wifi and other sorcery. So before you take 30 minutes to hack someones Android, remember it takes 30 SECONDS to hack an iphone. :D

  32. korgar (February 19th, 2013 at 5:26 pm)

If you were to place a new sim in it that you know the number of it should work

  33. Liz (February 25th, 2013 at 1:30 pm)

Im sorry I dont get it!!I have to be on the phone Im hacking??Or I do it from my phone??
